Thanks. We all need some hope. And a bit of faith in one another to boot. 😊

After years of social media managing for a minority group, I am exhausted. I could have quit many times. Still, I am compelled to show up and do my best to campaign for my candidates and incumbents. I have to enjoy the small moments when seeing a funny meme or political cartoon. Then I do not feel so alone. 🌻

We are all exhausted. We need sustenance and connection and hope. Thanks for your work. Mine is just to try to add that moment to breathe

Exhaustion was the GOPs plan all along.

Mary, I love this post and have felt the same about Platner. Hard to tell how he’ll be as senator but the same old/same old is wearing thin, even if some of them have been great. But more than that it’s your writing about this moment I truly appreciate. So I’m passing it along.

Oh please. I’m not selecting a senator for you. And neither the candidate I mentioned, not his interviewer were making offensive jokes. Take a deep breath, kind sir, and look for humor where it exists, hope wherever you find it, and offense only where it is unavoidable.
